It’s the weekend Baby!! Yes and Yes again! I know that you have had a busy week with work, errands, and the family. Now it is time for you to end your week with a Bang. This 8 minute total body workout will get the job done and keep you from feeling guilty if you weren’t able to do any of the previous workouts I’ve shared.
When you make it home later today, ask the family to give you 12 minutes to get yourself settled. Take 2 minutes to get into something comfy to complete the workout. Then, take 8 minutes to get your workout done and 2 minutes to catch your breath afterwards.
It is best to have a timer for this workout. Perform as many reps as you can in 45 seconds, rest for 15 seconds, then move to the next exercise. An interval timer will work well with these types of workouts. The interval timer app I recommend and use is “Interval Timer” or you can get one here.
Set it for 8 intervals with :45 seconds for the high and :15 seconds for the low. You are now ready to get started.
Push yourself. Don’t feel bad if you have to stop because of the burn. Trust me, it will burn. Once you are finished, catch your breath and then go and spend time with your family. Try to incorporate this 8 minute total body workout at least 2 to 3 times throughout the day for maximum benefits. You can do this workout with or without equipment. Just get it done.
